Seasons Greetings. Please come and meet beautiful Bethany. I just love these wonderful colors. This sumptuous shade of blue is quickly becoming a true favorite of mine. Bethany has so many rich details she is truly breathtaking. Bethany is made of heavy weight cotton muslin that I have tightly stuffed, painted, sanded and painted again. She has hand stitched applied eyelids and little round nose. I have paid careful attention to painting her sweet little face and then coated her head in real German glass glitter. The glitter really captures the light and just dances with it. Her arms are wired and can be posed any way you wish to hold her pretty little bottle brush wreath. Her hat is made from the beautiful satin and I have trimmed it with sparkly tarnished silver snowflakes all around. I added a beautiful French ribbon bow and band and also a vintage button. Her gorgeous dress is truly something. The inset has eight layers of beautiful lace and a double layer of very full ruffled lace for the collar. The satin dress features beautiful Victorian style puffed sleeves and a vintage button finishes off the embellishments. Her pretty little slippers have been painted on and sanded to age just a bit. Her little bottle brush wreath is trimmed out with lots of beads and faux pearls, sparkly silvery glitter and a satin bow. This beautiful snow girl is sure to bring a shining touch of whimsy to your winter time decor and will be with you for many years to come. Bethany is just about 27 inches tall from the top of her hat to the tips of her toes. She is a one of a kind Pixie's Thimble creation and will come to you signed and dated.
